Teacher workshops scheduled across the state

The following teacher workshops will cover topics that include: The Earth Under Our Feet (soil science), Where Does the Soil Go?, Cotton's Journey–From Field to Fabric, What the Heck is Biotech????, Junior Master Gardners, Chick Embryology, and more. Workshops will be 6-7 hours in length and teachers will receive Professional Development Credit, as approved by the State Board for Educator Certification.

Besides gaining knowledge from the various topics covered, teachers attending the workshop will receive lesson plans and activities for use in their classrooms.
