Objective
The student will prepare, plant, care for, and harvest a garden.
Length
A garden whether planted
outside in a bed on in containers is an on-going project that expands into 8-12
weeks. As you plan your garden be aware of the time involved. It is a lesson
of observation and caring. Tending the garden should be weekly. Gardens can
be planted in the fall and in the spring, so you can choose which season would
be best for your class. |
