2009 Food Check-Out Week
ActivitiesRoy Tim Zengerle and Judy Bruce presented a "Farmers' Share" presentation to DeWitt County K - 5 Elementary School students. The students were exceptionally attentive, involved and were full of questions and comments. At each location, Roy and Judy invited the students to participate in a contest to provide food for the local Christian food distribution centers with the winners receiving an ice cream party.
In Cuero, Roy made the presentation to each class teacher (8:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.) as the students were involved in TAKS testing.
