AITC workshop

Teachers from four school districts in Brazoria County attended a day-long AITC workshop in Angleton at the Brazoria County Extension Service. A tour of Garrett Farms was taken by the teachers. Garrett Farms is a seed rice operation in the Danbury area of Brazoria County and is one of the largest seed rice operations in the nation, supplying rice seed to farmers in many states. Teachers also participated in hands-on activities that can be utilized for the classroom.
