2007 Fall Ag Day

Sept. 10 brought Jacksonville fourth graders to the Texas Forest Service for the Fall Ag Day. There were eight stations for the 382 students and 20 teachers to view.

The Cherokee County Extension worked with the children on disaster drills.

The kids also got to talk with firemen from the Earle's Chapel Volunteer Fire Department.

Oncor representatives talked about electricity safety.

Aaron Sanders of Southwest Dairy talked about the value of dairy in our lives.
