McCormick new TFB vice president;
Jeske named secretary-treasurer

McCormick.jpg (10389 bytes)The Texas Farm Bureau board of directors chose Delmas McCormick of Floydada as the organization’s new vice president Feb. 7 in a special election. Also elected was Dale Jeske of Alamo as the new TFB secretary-treasurer.

McCormick replaces Donald Patman, who became president of Texas Farm Bureau on Jan. 13 when TFB President Bob Stallman was elected president of the American Farm Bureau Federation. Jeske replaces McCormick, who vacated the secretary-treasurer post when he was elected vice president.

McCormick produces cotton, milo and wheat in Floyd County. He served on the Floyd County FB board of directors from 1978 to 1993, and was elected to the TFB board of directors in 1994. He was Floyd County Farm Bureau president from 1980-82.

Jeske.jpg (10525 bytes)Jeske is a citrus producer from Hidalgo County He has served as president, vice president and secretary of the Hidalgo County FB. He joined the Texas Farm Bureau board in December, 1997.
