Grainger adds to
YF&R prize package

Grainger Industrial Supply, one of TFB’s newest economic service-to-member partners, has generously upped the ante in both of the Young Farmer & Rancher Contests.

This year, Grainger will award each person who enters the Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher and/or the Discussion Meet Contest a $100 gift certificate to their industrial supply catalog.

Grainger has also agreed to increase these certificates to the finalists in both contests. The winners of the Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher and the Discussion Meet Contests will have their gift certificates increased to $500. In addition, the other five finalists (two in the Outstanding YF&R and three in the Discussion Meet) will have their gift certificates increased to $250. This adds an additional $1,550 to the already lucrative prize packages which include trucks, tractors, four wheelers, trophy buckles and cash.

As a reminder, the deadline to enter the Outstanding Young Farmer and Rancher Contest is Sept. 8. The deadline for entering the Discussion Meet Contest is Nov. 1.
