New TFB directors elected
Two new district directors–Gary L. McGehee of Mertzon, who replaces Kenneth Dierschke of San Angelo, whose term was up, as the new District 6 director; and Arthur L. Bluntzer of Goliad, who will take the place of retiring District 12 board member Zachary X. Yanta of Runge—were recently elected at the TFB annual meeting in Corpus Christi.

McGehee, a native of Morgan, in Bosque County, is a sheep, goat, cattle and wildlife producer. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University, San Angelo, in 1974.

He has been an active leader in the Tom Green County Farm Bureau, serving on that board for 12 years with two terms as president.

McGehee and his wife, Carolyn, have three children.

Bluntzer is a commercial cow/calf producer in Goliad and DeWitt counties.

Born in Cuero, Bluntzer served almost four years in the U.S. Air Force as an academic instructor and supervisor of instructors.

Bluntzer received a B.S. in Agriculture Education from Texas A&I in 1956. He has served six years as Goliad County Farm Bureau president.

The Bluntzers are parents of three adult children—two daughters and a son.

Arthur named vice president
Following the recent annual convention, the TFB board met and elected Lloyd Arthur, a cotton farmer from Ralls, as vice president. Dale Jeske of Alamo was re-elected secretary-treasurer.

Newly elected board members included Gary McGehee of District 6, replacing Dierschke, whose term was up, and Arthur L. Bluntzer of District 12, replacing retiring board member Zachary X. Yanta.

Re-elected for two-year terms to the Texas Farm Bureau board were Lloyd Arthur, District 2; Joe Kapavik, District 4; Dan Dierschke, District 8; and Tommy Boehme, District 10.
