Si Cook, Texas Farm Bureau Organization Programs director, has released the names of TFB's 2004 scholarship recipients as follows:
Dick Mitchell Scholarship Seth Hoelscher, son of Richard and Diane Hoelscher of Hereford (Deaf Smith County) is the winner of the $1,000 Dick Mitchell Scholarship. Hoelscher plans to attend Texas Tech or Texas A&M University and major in animal science, with a minor in agribusiness.

Brandon Robert Gunn, son of Bill and Barbara Gunn of Seguin, received a $1,000 YF&R Scholarship for Enrolled Students. Gunn is attending Texas A&M University, College Station, where he is an Animal Science major with plans to further his education in Livestock Marketing.

Lori Langbein, daughter of Larry and Karen Langbein of Boerne, received a $1,000 YF&R Scholarship for Enrolled Students. Langbein is a senior at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, scheduled to graduate in May 2005 with a B.S. in Agriculture Services and Development with specialization in Ag Education.

Brooke Adamson, daughter of Mike and Cindy Adamson of Killeen, is the recipient of a $2,000 YF&R scholarship. The Bell County youth plans to attend Texas A&M University this fall, with the goal of majoring in Animal Science and attaining a doctorate's degree in Veterinary Medicine.

Chelsy Autumn DiMaggio, daughter of Michael and Janet DiMaggio of Pettus, received a $2,000 YF&R scholarship. After completion of studies at Blinn Jr. College, DiMaggio plans to attend Texas A&M University, where she will major in Animal Science and work towards a career as a veterinarian.

Aaron C. Lux, son of Darrel and Michelle Lux of Kendalia, is the winner of a $2,000 YF&R scholarship.
The Kendall County youth plans to attend Tarleton State University, where he will major in Agricultural Communications in pursuit of a career in Public Relations.

Evan Maxwell, son of Freddie and Pam Maxwell of Sudan, is the winner of a $2,000 YF&R scholarship. Maxwell will attend Texas Tech University in the fall, where he will prepare himself for a career in production agriculture by studying agronomy.
Jessup Clayton Yeaman, son of Jeffrey and Melanie Yeaman of Rocksprings, is the winner of a $2,000 YF&R scholarship. Yeaman plans to attend Texas A&M University, with a major in Animal Science, and the goal of becoming an Extension agent or sheep and goat specialist.

Neva Marie Barker, daughter of Robert and Jean Barker of Richmond, is the winner of a $4,000 scholarship presented by TFB's Agriculture Research and Education Foundation. Barker has been accepted into the Genetics program at Texas A&M University.
Another winner of a $4,000 Ag Research & Education Foundation scholarship, Cody Thomas Zatopek, son of Mark and Brenda Zatopek of Needville, has aspirations of becoming an architect.
Zatopek plans to pursue studies towards that end at Texas A&M University this fall.
