The Rural Alliance for Renewable Energy (RARE), an alliance of public and private entities (including the Texas Farm Bureau), will host a "Development Forum and Expo" from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 9, at the Fredonia Hotel and Conference Center in Nacogdoches.
The forum will address the benefits of developing renewable energy for individuals, businesses and communities. Texas energy and research experts will discuss opportunities for generating energy from animal wastes, generating electricity from biomass, regulatory information, and energy programs and incentives, among other topics.
The cost of the event is $25 (advance purchase) and will include lunch.
