Food Check-Out expanded
to full week

This year, Food Check-Out will no longer be one day, but is extended to a full week—Sunday, Jan. 29 through Saturday, Feb. 4.

Food Check-Out Week is a celebration of the bounty from America's farms and ranches and how that bounty is shared with American consumers through affordable food prices. According to the latest statistics provided by the Agriculture Department, the average American devotes less than 10 percent of his or her disposable personal income to pay for food.

Once again, Texas Farm Bureau will partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), its cornerstone program, Ronald McDonald House, and other local food charities in a variety of activities to expand awareness to the community. Call your local Farm Bureau to see how you can participate.
