Texas Farm Bureau members will start seeing redas in shining red tractorsas they take advantage of a new incentive program on DX and DXE Series Farmall tractors and JX Series tractors offered by Case IH. In a new program in cooperation with Case IH, Texas Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation, Texas Farm Bureau members will receive $300 off the best offer on DXE and DX Series Farmall tractors and $500 off the JX Series. "All you have to do is visit your Case IH dealer, pick out the DXE/DX Farmall or JX tractor that is just right for you and show your membership card," said Si Cook, who coordinates the program for the state's largest farm organization. "You'll leave with something big, red and powerful, plus a little extra green in your wallet." Cook said Case IH has been a big supporter of Young Farmer & Rancher activities at both the state and national levels for years. The jump to offering discounts especially for Farm Bureau members was a logical one. "This is a very positive benefit for Texas Farm Bureau members," Cook said. "Whether you need to mow a few acres this weekend, or you'll be spending your entire week in the field, there's a Case IH tractor that's the perfect choice for you at a discounted price!" For instance, Farmall is one of the most famous names in the tractor industry. And the new DXE/DX Series Farmall compact tractors aren't just for farms anymore. "These Farmalls are multi-tasking machines that meet the needs of homeowners, landscapers, contractors, farmers, golf courses and horse stables; they are for any customer who appreciates maneuverability, simplicity and comfort," said Case IH spokesperson John Temple. The DXE Series Farmall sub-compact tractor line has three models ranging from 18 to 25 engine horsepower and is specially designed to meet the needs of residential homeowners, Temple said. "The compact size of these tractors makes them easy to maneuver, plus they're the perfect size for the garage or shed," he said. "Not only do they serve as maneuverable mowing machines, but they can also power rear-mounted implements like rotary tillers and rotary cutters, as well as front-mounted implements like loaders and blades." Both weekend warriors and commercial contractors will appreciate the DX Series compact tractor line with its long list of integrated implements and attachments, Temple said. With seven models ranging from 23 to 45 engine horsepower, there's a Farmall compact tractor to meet most every need. Available on the DX Series tractors is a front "Quick-Attach" sub-frame system for front-mounted implements like the rotary broom, blade and snow blower. This system allows the operator to switch back and forth between attachments quickly, without tools. Rugged mechanical front-wheel drive (MFD) allows the operator to get through slippery spots, loose soil and sand with 50 percent less wheel slip, Temple said. Also featured are power steering, wet disc brakes, and unmatched visibility and serviceability. The DX48 and DX55 Farmall utility tractors are ready to put big horsepower to work in challenging situations. "These models are ideal for tough environments on the farm and in commercial contracting work," Temple said. "These large-chassis Farmall tractors are built as tough as their big brothers, including MX Series Magnum and STX Series Steiger tractors that are known for their awesome power and rugged reliability." Finally, the JX Series tractors (45 to 80 PTO horsepower) provide no-frills economy with reliable performance. They are ideal for all-purpose applications such as loader work, mowing, baling, box blading and more. "There's a model to fit your specific situation," Case's Tony Wisker said. "All models are available with either two-wheel drive or MFD and come with a flat-deck cab or ROPS. Two mechanical transmissions are available with a synchronized mechanical forward/reverse shuttle lever for your left hand." For special crop applications, the JX95 High Clear tractor is available, Wisker said. "It lets you put the power of a turbocharged 80 PTO horsepower engine into rows of tall vegetables or other crops that require high clearance," Wisker said. Wisker encouraged prospective buyers to visit their local Case IH dealer to decide which tractor is best for their situation. "The most important feature that sets our tractors apart is the support you'll receive from your Case IH dealer," he said. "He's dedicated to the equipment business and can help find the tractor that is right for you."
