Each of the Community Farm Bureaus has its own officers. Directors are
elected by the Community Farm Bureau to represent them on the county Farm
Bureau board. The number of directors from a Community Farm Bureau is
determined by the number of members.
Each Community Farm Bureau meets monthly or quarterly throughout the year.
At each meeting, an informational program is given. Community Farm Bureaus
sponsor annual family nights where a barbecue meal is usually served.
The meal
is either offered free or at a small charge.
Fayette County Farm Bureau's strength is enhanced because of the strong leadership at the local Farm Bureau level.
